These terms govern your use of SootSim and sootbean.com, operated by Tamagui LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
SootSim is a browser-native iOS simulator for React Native that runs on your machine and, optionally, in our hosted cloud for sharing previews and running agent-driven flows. Your use of the local desktop app is subject to the accompanying license; your use of cloud features is subject to these terms.
You need an account to use cloud features. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys confidential and for all activity that happens under them. Tell us at [email protected] if you suspect a key has leaked.
The Personal plan is billed annually. It auto-renews each year on the anniversary of purchase unless you cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal before the renewal date. Personal includes 200 preview uploads per month and 50 retained previews. Personal previews and flow videos do not auto-expire; they stay available until you delete them or exceed the retained-preview cap. It is a hard cap — there is no overage billing.
The Team plan bills monthly and starts at 3 seats on checkout. You set seat quantity through the Stripe Customer Portal after purchase; changes pro-rate automatically. Each team gets a pooled monthly allotment of 100 preview uploads and $25 of model budget as a base, plus 50 uploads and $5 of model budget per seat.
AI usage beyond the included budget is metered at Anthropic's raw token cost multiplied by two. The 2× markup covers Stripe fees, failed charges, and basic margin. Preview uploads beyond the pool are billed at $0.05 per upload. All overage stops at the spending cap.
Every team has a spending cap (default $100/mo, configurable). When the cap is reached, metered actions reject until the cap is raised.
The Free tier includes a 14-day Personal trial from account creation, after which Personal-only cloud and desktop features are disabled. Local use of the desktop app remains available on Free indefinitely, subject to a one-simulator cap.
Stripe handles all payments, refunds, tax, and dunning. By starting checkout you agree to Stripe's terms in addition to these. We do not store payment card details.
We do not pro-rate refunds for partially used subscription periods. If something is broken or you were charged in error, email [email protected].
Uploads created on Personal or during the trial do not auto-expire. Team uploads stay available for the retention window recorded when they were created. You can delete your account and its associated data at any time by emailing [email protected].
You agree not to:
You retain all rights to the code, assets, prompts, and content you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your uploads solely to the extent needed to deliver the service (for example, serving a preview bundle from Cloudflare R2, or routing a prompt to Anthropic). We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not grant any third party rights to your content.
The SootSim software, website, logos, and hosted service are property of Tamagui LLC. Your use of published open-source packages under packages/ is governed by those packages' individual licenses — see the License page for details.
Agent flows use Anthropic (Claude) as the model provider. We disclose the markup on model spend (2×) explicitly in section 3. Anthropic does not train on our API traffic under the terms of our agreement with them.
We may change prices, plan contents, or retention rules with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers by email. Material changes that reduce your entitlements take effect on the next renewal, not mid-period.
You may cancel at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate section 6 or that are materially past due on payment. We will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data except where doing so would create a security or legal risk.
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Tamagui LLC's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the service exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of __JURISDICTION__, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in __JURISDICTION__, and the parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
The __JURISDICTION__ placeholder will be filled in by legal counsel before these terms leave draft status.
